- New improvements in Crawl report in Search Console
Google has launched a new version of crawl stats report for a better understanding of how Googlebot crawls the site.
It has the following features:
- Total number of requests grouped by response code, crawled file type, crawl purpose, and Googlebot type.
- Detailed information on host status
- URL examples to show where in your site requests occurred
- Comprehensive summary for properties with multiple hosts and support for domain properties
2. Name change for webmaster
In their official blog, Google said they are changing the name webmaster, as the name doesn't show up a broader term in digital marketing. They changed the name from"Google Webmasters Central" to "Google Search Central". Along with this Webmaster central blog URL also changes to https://developers.google.com/search/blog. The latest information and algorithm updates will be going to publish on the new blog.

3. Small business advisor program from Google for SMBs
Google launched (beta) Small business advisor program to help Small businesses to better market their products and services. This offers a 50- minutes individual consulting session on Google analytics, Ads, Google my business and Youtube. This is currently available in the US only and it is not applicable for large businesses.
4. Disavow tool is now available in New search console
The new location for the disavow link tool is now at https://search.google.com/search-console/disavow-links. Previously it was located at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main.
5. Facebook Partners with BBB to help shoppers to identify spammers
Facebook is now partnered with Better Business Bureau (BBB).
As explained by Facebook:
"We’ve partnered with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) on the “Shop Safe, Shop Smart” campaign. Starting today and throughout December, the “Shop Safe, Shop Smart” campaign from the BBB and Facebook will run ads and organic content on Facebook, Instagram and various social media channels to promote actionable tips on how to spot, avoid and report scams online."

6. Snapchat Launches 'Spotlight' a Short Video Feed Option
Spotlight is similar to Tiktok’s customized feed of short-form video clips. The Spotlight feed will feature a range of short video clips, both from public and private Snap accounts. The users will be able to submit their videos directly to the Spotlight feed for consideration.
As explained by Snapchat “We designed Spotlight to entertain our community while living up to Snapchat values, with our community’s well being as a top priority. Spotlight content is moderated and doesn’t allow for public comments.”
