Google adds a Performance report to Search console which captures search stats for product rich results on Google Search. This report provides key metrics like clicks and impressions to help webmasters understand and optimize the performance of their website results on Google Search. These metrics can further be segmented by device, geography and queries.

2. Bing Adds Natural language processing to its algorithm
Like the Google BERT update that happened last month, Bing announced that they are also using natural language processing for search queries. “We use natural language models to improve our core search algorithm’s understanding of a user’s search intent and the related webpages so that Bing can deliver the most relevant search results to our users” said Bing. They also said they rely on deep learning computer visions to understand images even if they don't have an image title or alt text.

3. Twitter Adds New 'Conversation Insights' to Media Studio
This updated feature provides more specific data on your tweet mentions, who's mentioning you, and filters to provide additional information on the types of accounts engaging with your profile.
Twitter said in its blog, “Conversation Insights finds and displays Tweets that you might ordinarily miss. The dashboard is customizable, allowing you to discover what people are saying about you minute-by-minute over time. You can use this knowledge to join and even mould the conversation with timely and relevant content.”
Twitter also said that in the future, publishers will be able to engage with Tweets, share them, or even reply directly from the Conversation Insights page.
4. Facebook Removes Option to Add Friends to Live-Stream Broadcasts
Social media expert Matt Navarra shared the news that Facebook is shutting down its live stream with friends’ feature, which it launched back in 2017.

6. Instagram Expands hidden Likes to more locations
After expanding its test of ‘hidden likes’ count to US users this week, Instagram is now broadening the experiment to all regions.
"While the feedback from early testing in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Japan and New Zealand has been positive, this is a fundamental change to Instagram, and so we’re continuing our test to learn more from our global community."
